Job Title: Line Cooks and Prep Cooks

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: $18.50 – $20.00 per hour + tips + overtime pay

About the Role:

Hirez Manpower Solutions Inc. is hiring Line Cooks and Prep Cooks on behalf of our clients in the Hospitality and Food Services Industry across the Greater Toronto Area. The ideal candidates will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, upholding food safety standards, and working effectively in fast-paced kitchen environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and specifications
  • Measure and mix ingredients as per standardized procedures
  • Ensure dishes consistently meet quality standards
  • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service
  • Maintain open communication and teamwork throughout shifts
Workstation Maintenance:
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols
Inventory Management:
  • Assist with inventory tracking and ordering kitchen supplies as needed
Schedule:
  • Day and evening shifts available
  • Monday to Friday with weekend availability required
Requirements:
  • Minimum 6 months of education and/or experience in Food Services, Hospitality, or Cooking
  • English language proficiency of CLB 5 or higher
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays
  • Competitive hourly wage: $18.50 – $20.00
  • Overtime pay and tips
  • Immigration support for eligible candidates, including:
  • LMIA for 2-year work permits
  • Full support for Canadian Experience Class, Express Entry, and Provincial Nominee Programs (OINP, AINP, BCPNP, MPNP)
