Job summary

Fairmont Hot Springs Resort in British Columbia is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure guests enjoy the hot springs in a safe, rule‑driven environment. The position offers compensation of $22 per hour and requires a National Lifeguard pool certification along with Standard First Aid and CPR/AED.

You will monitor guest behavior, enforce admission standards, and collaborate with staff to maintain a clean, welcoming facility.

  • Provide a fun and safe environment for patrons.

  • Attend all training sessions.
  • Address safety issues and complaints and report to supervisor.
  • Represent Fairmont Hot Springs Resort with professional image.
  • Maintain neat and tidy workplace.

Job description

Position Summary:

A Lifeguard is responsible to ensure that all guests and patrons in and around the hot springs are adhering to all rules and regulations, while enjoying their time spent at the hot springs.


Pay for this position is $22 per hour.



Major Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Providea fun and safe environment for patrons.

  • Ensureparticipants meet the minimum requirements of admission standards.

  • Workas a team member and actively in facility upkeep.

  • Recordand submit all forms and documentation including but not limited to:bather load, incident and accident reports, opening and closingchecklists.

  • Followmaintenance checklists and record tasks including but not limited toconducting walking inspections of change rooms, Guest Pool, and publicareas.

  • Attendall training sessions.

  • Addressall disciplinary, safety issues and complaints involving the public andreport to the immediate supervisor.

  • Beknowledgeable and enforce all Fairmont Hot Springs policies.

  • Maintaina neat and tidy workplace.

  • RepresentFairmont Hot Springs Resort and maintain outstanding public relations skillsand a professional image at all times.
