Job summary

Fairmont Hot Springs Resort in British Columbia is seeking a Reservations Agent to assist guests with planning and booking reservations for the resort.

Answering incoming calls, inputting reservations into the PMS system, and becoming proficient in the property management system are key parts of the role. You will learn room types, views, and local activities to provide knowledgeable recommendations, while delivering warm, professional guest service.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Working knowledge of office equipment such as copier, printer, and scanner.

Responsibilities

• Answer all incoming calls with courtesy and ensure efficient resolution of all guest inquiries
• Make room reservations and answer guest inquiries
• Input reservations into PMS system
• Learn and become a master of the property PMS system
• Understand all rooms types and what each room has to offer including the views
• Fully understand the Resort property in order to recommend activities
• Co-operate and accept other assignments as and when required.
