Job summary

Fairmont Banff Springs is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for our luxury spa environment in Banff. You will maintain the spa premises, restock amenities and linens, and assist guests with locker rooms and spa facilities to ensure an exceptional experience. Starting at $19.95 per hour with increases after six months and at three years, rising to $24.17.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Perks include subsidized on-site housing, a staff meal, comprehensive benefits, and a pension plan

Qualifications

• Housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Demonstrates initiative with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dedicated to high level of customer service and attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 30+ lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain spa premises, replenish stock of amenities, toiletries and linens and answer guest inquiries.
• Maintain female & male locker rooms in a tidy manner, check and clean lockers when needed.
• Direct members/guests to appointments and assist them with use of sauna, steam whirlpool etc.
• Other duties as assigned.

Starting Rate: $19.95 per hour

We recognise tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $24.17

Job Duties Include

• Responsible for maintaining the Fairmont Spa premises; clean, replenish stock of all spa amenities, toiletries and linens and answer any guest inquiries
• Maintain female & male locker rooms in a tidy manner, check and clean lockers when needed
• Direct members/guests to appointments and assist them with use of sauna, steam whirlpool etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience an asset
• Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Have excellent interpersonal/communication skills, are polite and friendly
• Are dedicated to a high level of customer service and attention to detail
• Must be able to lift, carry and pull over 30+ lbs and able to constantly stand and walk throughout shift. Motions include: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, climbing up and down the stairs.
