Job summary

VON Canada is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver holistic, client-centered home and community care. You’ll assess clients, provide primary care with other healthcare professionals, administer medications, and support chronic disease management, wound care, and palliative care in homes, clinics, or virtually.

This part-time 0.6 FTE role offers a schedule including days with evening and weekend rotation, comprehensive orientation, benefits, and a pension plan.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of practice
• Community health experience is an asset
• Must enjoy driving, have a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle
• A current and original copy of a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry Check is required
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
