Job summary

Ocean View Continuing Care Centre in Eastern Passage, NS, Canada is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Interdisciplinary Team. The LPN provides direct nursing care to residents under the direction of the RN and Team Leader, and carries out duties as directed by the RN and Clinical Leader.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Nova Scotia Nursing and Midwifery Regulator.
• Recognized pharmacology course and experience in the administration of medicines.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents as part of the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Work under the direction of the RN and Team Leader; carry out duties as directed by the RN and Clinical Leader.
• Be available for a 24-hour shift rotation on any program area.
