Qualifications

• Registered with the College of Opticians and hold a Dispensing Optician License in Canada.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in an optical dispensary.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Flexibility to work retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in understanding their visual needs and prescriptions.
• Guide frame and lens selection for comfort and fit.
• Perform dispensing measurements using digital tools and conduct quality checks.
• Maintain knowledge of frames, lenses, treatments, and current promotions.
• Manage after-care and resolve complaints with effective problem-solving.
• Support contact lens recommendations and store promotions as directed.
• Handle third-party billing professionally.
• Coach team members in optical knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to daily store operations and uphold specsavers values and brand standards.
