Job summary

Specsavers Milton is seeking a Licensed Optician to guide customers in eyewear choices and ensure each pair provides comfort and optimal vision. You’ll work closely with retail and clinical teams to deliver high-quality eye care and exceptional service.

Qualified candidates have a valid Dispensing Optician License and at least 2 years of customer service in a retail optical setting, with flexibility to work retail hours. Competitive compensation and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the College of Opticians and hold a valid Dispensing Optician License in your province.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in an optical dispensary environment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, staying organized and composed under pressure.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers through eyewear choices, ensuring comfort, style, and optimal function.
• Dispense accurately using digital tools and conduct quality assurance on eyewear.
• Maintain knowledge of frames, lenses, treatments, and current promotions.
• Support after-care services and resolve customer complaints."
• Assist with contact lens recommendations as directed by the Store Manager or Contact Lens Practitioner.
