Job summary

Specsavers in Aurora, Ontario, is seeking a Licensed Optician to guide customers through eyewear choices and ensure accurate dispensing. You will work with retail and clinical teams to deliver comfort, style, and optimal vision for every customer, while upholding Specsavers’ high standards.

You will interpret prescriptions, advise on frames and lenses, perform dispensing measurements, and participate in daily operations and promotions.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Knowledge of eyewear products, frames, lenses, and promotions.
• Ability to interpret optical prescriptions accurately and guide customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with frame and lens selection for comfort and fit.
• Explain prescriptions and guide customers through eyewear options.
• Perform dispensing measurements and quality checks on eyewear.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions and product offerings.
• Support after-care and handle customer inquiries professionally.
• Maintain store cleanliness and inventory as part of daily operations.
