Qualifications

• Be registered with the College of Opticians and hold a valid Dispensing Optician License in your province.
• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in an optical dispensary.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment, stay organized under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in understanding visual needs and prescribe interpretations from eye care professionals.
• Provide guidance on frame and lens selection for comfort, style, and fit.
• Perform dispensing measurements using digital tools and conduct quality assurance on eyewear.
• Maintain knowledge of frames, lenses, treatments and current promotions to educate customers.
• Handle after-care services and resolve complaints with effective problem solving.
• Support contact lens recommendations and promotions as directed by supervisor.
