Job summary

Quesnel Dental Group, located on Front Street in the heart of Quesnel, is seeking a registered Dental Assistant to join our expanding practice led by Dr. Mirko Pellizarri.

You will work with an experienced team delivering preventive, restorative and sedation dentistry while building strong relationships with patients. We are entering a top-to-bottom renovation and you can join during this transition with flexible full-time, part-time or shift options and a $10,000 signing/relocation bonus to

Qualifications

• Registered and licensed Dental Assistant with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• New graduates welcome; previous dental assisting experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $32-$38/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.
