Quesnel Dental Group in Quesnel, BC is seeking a Licensed Dental Assistant to join our growing practice led by Dr. Mirko Pellizarri.

This role offers flexible scheduling and a chance to contribute during an exciting transition as we renovate and modernize our clinic. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, take X-rays, perform sterilization, update charts and educate patients on oral care.

Qualifications

• Registered and Licensed as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience considered an asset, new graduates welcome!
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.
