Job summary

Peachland Dental is seeking a certified Dental Assistant to join our team in Peachland, BC. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists during procedures, and take digital X-rays while upholding IPAC standards and patient comfort.

We welcome experienced assistants and offer a collaborative environment, ongoing education, and pathways for growth within a trusted Canadian practice. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Qualifications

  • Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
  • Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
  • Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
  • Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
  • Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
  • Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
  • Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
  • Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

Monday & Tuesday 9-7

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $30-$38/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.
