Job summary

Quesnel Dental Group on Front Street in Quesnel is seeking a licensed dental hygienist to join a patient-focused practice undergoing exciting upgrades. You will deliver preventive and restorative hygiene services while building long-term relationships with the community.

The role offers flexible work arrangements, with options for full-time, part-time, or shift work, and a supportive team using modern technology and equipment to enhance patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing preventative techniques and providing patient counselling.
• Build and retain patient loyalty by delivering a personalized experience based on each patient’s needs and expectations while consistently maintaining ethical and professional standards.

The wage range is $65-$75 per hour, reflective of experience. Hourly wage is determined based on the candidate’s work experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
