Job summary

TG Minto Palmerston in Ontario is seeking a Lead Operator to support production of high‑quality parts in a just‑in‑time environment. You will operate injection molding machines and assembly stations, meet hourly quotas, and document daily production.

The role offers cross‑training across departments, training responsibilities in the absence of a Leader Tech, and adherence to 5S and Kanban processes while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred, or aptitude test.
• Able to bend, reach, lift and meet physical requirements, accommodations available.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to meet quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate all injection machines and assembly stations.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and machinery.
• Train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work safely and maintain 5S in assigned areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate all injection machines and assembly stations
• Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery.
• Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred –or— successful completion of an aptitude test
• You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.

Straight Shift Timing onDay Shift(6:00 AM-2:30 PM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.
