Job summary

TG Minto Corporation, a division of Toyoda Gosei, is seeking a Lead Operator for production in Ontario. This position supports just‑in‑time manufacturing, requiring attention to quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include operating injection machines, meeting quotas, documenting output, and cross-training in multiple areas. A high school diploma or GED is preferred; some assignments may require physical tasks and accommodations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or aptitude test.
• Must be able to bend, reach, lift, and perform physical requirements; accommodations available.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas and document daily production.
• Operate injection machines and assembly stations.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and assist Leader Tech in absence.
• Train FTMs as needed; understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work safely within Health and Safety guidelines and maintain 5S in all areas.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate all injection machines and assembly stations
• Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery.
• Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred –or— successful completion of an aptitude test
• You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.

Straight Shift Timing on Night Shift (10:00PM-6:30 AM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.
