Job summary

TG Minto Palmerston in Palmerston, Ontario is seeking a Lead Operator to support the production of high-quality parts in a Just-in-time environment. This role offers growth opportunities within the automotive supply sector.

Lead Operators follow work instructions, meet production quotas, document daily production, and operate injection machines and assembly stations while staying aligned with health, safety and 5S standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred—or successful completion of an aptitude test.
• Functional ability to bend, reach, lift and perform physical requirements; accommodations can be made.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate all injection machines and assembly stations.
• Ability to be cross trained in many areas, tasks and or machinery.
• Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.
