Job summary

TG Minto Corporation, a division of Toyoda Gosei, located in Palmerston, Ontario, is seeking production staff to follow work instructions, meet quality standards, document daily production and operate injection machines and assembly stations.

This straight day shift (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) may change to accommodate production needs; this replacement vacancy offers an opportunity to contribute to a safety-focused, 5S-driven team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; aptitude test acceptable.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and perform other physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate injection machines and assembly stations.
• Cross-train in multiple areas, tasks, or machinery.
• Train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work safely adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred -or- successful completion of an aptitude test
• You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.

Straight Shift Timing on Day Shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.
