Job summary

TG Minto Corporation, a division of Toyoda Gosei, seeks a Lead Operator in Stratford, Ontario to support Just‑in‑time production of high‑quality automotive parts. You will operate injection machines and assembly stations, meet hourly quotas, and contribute to a safe, efficient Kanban workflow.

Starting wages are $20.55/hr with a premium, overtime after 40 hours, shift premiums, and a comprehensive benefits package. This is a day shift with potential cross-training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or successful completion of an aptitude test.
• Must be able to bend, reach, lift and meet physical requirements of the job.
• Meet hourly production quotas and document daily production.
• Operate all injection machines and assembly stations.
• Cross-train in multiple areas and train FTMs in absence of Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate all injection machines and assembly stations.
• Cross-train across departments and train FTMs when needed.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wages of $20.55/hr with $1 premium
• Paid overtime after 40/hours per week
• Shift Premiums ranging from +$0.40 to +$0.65 (Afternoon Shift) & +$1.00 (Night Shift)
• Paint Booth Premiums +$0.50 (in addition to Shift Premiums)

• Ability to train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) ispreferred–or—successful completion of an aptitude test
• You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.

Straight Shift Timing onDay Shift(7:00 AM-3:30 PM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.
