Job summary

TG Minto Corporation, a division of Toyoda Gosei, operates in Palmerston and Stratford, Ontario. Lead Operators play a vital role in producing high quality parts in a just-in-time environment and offer growth within the automotive industry.

Starting wages are listed at $20.55/hr with a $1 premium, with overtime after 40 hours and shift premiums. Benefits start from day one, including medical and dental coverage, uniforms, and safety allowances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to bend, reach, lift and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions to produce and verify conformance to quality standards.
• Meet hourly production quotas.
• Document daily production.
• Operate all injection machines and assembly stations.
• Cross-train in many areas, tasks and/or machinery.
• Train FTMs in the absence of the Leader Tech.
• Understand and follow the Kanban system.
• Work in a safe manner within Health and Safety guidelines.
• Maintain 5S in all assigned areas.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wages of $20.55/hr with $1 premium
• Paid overtime after 40/hours per week
• Shift Premiums ranging from +$0.40 to +$0.65 (Afternoon Shift) & +$1.00 (Night Shift)
• Paint Booth Premiums +$0.50 (in addition to Shift Premiums)

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred–or— successful completion of an aptitude test
• You must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform the other physical requirements of the job. Accommodations can be made.

Straight Shift Timing on Afternoon Shift(4:30 PM-1:00 PM) but may be required to change shifts in order to accommodate production requirements.
