Job summary

TG Minto Corporation, a division of Toyoda Gosei, is hiring Production Team Members for its Palmerston, Ontario plant. You will support the production line, operate lift trucks, and maintain a safe, clean 5S work environment in a just-in-time manufacturing setting.

The role offers day shifts with competitive wages, overtime, bonuses, and a broad benefits package starting from day one. Aged completion of a GED or HS diploma is preferred, with aptitude testing possibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred or successful completion of an aptitude test.
• Candidate must be able to bend, reach, lift and perform other physical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Builds skids and uses kanban and scanning systems.
• Loads/returnsables and sorts returnables.
• Operates material handling equipment (lift truck).
• Maintains 5S and a clean work environment.

Compensation And Benefits

• Starting wages of $21.63/hr
• Paid overtime after 40/hours per week
• Company Performance Bonuses
• Shift Premiums ranging from +$0.40 to +$0.65 (Afternoon Shift) & +$1.00 (Night Shift)

Duties And Responsibilities

• Building skids, utilising kanban and scanning systems
• Loading returnables and Sorting returnables
• Operate material handling equipment - lift truck etc.
• Maintain excellent 5S condition
• All of the above duties must be performed within Health and Safety guidelines
• Ensure a positive work environment and awareness of company quality policy, goals, objectives and your role in TG Minto’s success. Follow work instructions.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred –or— successful completion of an aptitude test
