Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years in the mechanical construction industry.
  • Formal training in construction management would be an asset.
  • Red Seal Plumbing Certification is required.
  • Gas Ticket is an asset.
  • Previous experience as a Lead Hand or Foreman is required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and train a medium to large crew of Lead hands, Journeypersons, and Apprentices.
  • Plan and schedule tasks for site Red Seal Plumbers and apprentices.
  • Enforce project-specific health and safety policy and QAQC program.
  • Order materials and equipment in advance of installation.
  • Direct and monitor sub-trade work to align with project documents.
  • Monitor and report on-site installation to ensure alignment with project schedule.
  • Translate drawings/specifications into usable format for Lead hand/RSP’s.
  • Perform other duties as required.
