Laurentian University is seeking a part-time Lead Invigilator for the Counselling and Accessibility Services to oversee the Exam Centre operations and staff scheduling. You will ensure accommodations are implemented, maintain the security of examinations, and support the Exam Coordinator in exam preparation and materials.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 1 year of customer service/office experience, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or college diploma is an asset.
• At least 1 year of customer service or office administration experience.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and scheduling abilities.
• Basic computer literacy including email and online platforms (Google Suites, Zoom).
• Reliable, punctual, accurate, and able to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Lead invigilator role under the Exam Coordinator, coordinating shift schedules and ensuring compliance with Testing Centre regulations.
• Support exam preparation, manage staff availability, and prepare materials like shift reports and manuals.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain a barrier-free testing environment; ensure security procedures are followed.
• Oversee handling of confidential examination materials and implement accommodations as required.
• Cover Testing Centre operations in the Exam Coordinator's absence while upholding exam integrity.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
