Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and EGBC registration or eligibility.
• 10+ years of consulting engineering experience in water/wastewater projects.
• Expertise in Canadian Electrical Code and MV/LV power systems.
• Experience with proposals, cost estimates and client management.
• Passion for sustainable infrastructure and community impact.
• Experience with BC projects is an asset.
• Experience with Metro Vancouver projects is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical and control system projects for water and wastewater facilities, ensuring quality and compliance with WSP standards.
• Lead project teams through design, tendering, and construction phases, driving successful outcomes for clients and communities.
• Prepare feasibility studies, preliminary engineering designs, and capital cost estimates that influence critical infrastructure decisions.
• Design and configure DCS and PLC/HMI applications, supporting commissioning and field activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering growth and knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities to expand WSP’s service offerings in the water sector.
