Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex electrical systems for transportation, municipal, institutional, commercial, and industrial projects across Canada. This role combines technical excellence, project leadership, and mentorship within multidisciplinary teams to deliver meaningful outcomes for clients and communities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with P.Eng. designation (PEO).
10–15 years of progressive experience designing electrical systems for transportation, commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
Expertise in power distribution, fire alarm, grounding, lighting protection, emergency power, and life safety.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design and delivery of infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
Oversee design of power distribution, fire alarm, grounding, and life safety systems.
Mentor and support engineers, designers, and students to grow technical capabilities.
Prepare calculations, specs, reports, and sealed deliverables.
Collaborate with managers, clients, and contractors to meet objectives.
