Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (Business Admin, Law or related field).
  • Minimum 3 years of contract administration experience, preferably in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement, and risk management.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing legal documents.
  • Proficiency with contract management software and MS Office.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to manage and oversee all contractual agreements for construction projects in the Kimberley region. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and administering contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. This role involves close collaboration with project managers, legal counsel, and external vendors to safeguard the company's interests and ensure smooth project execution. You will be instrumental in maintaining robust contract management practices that support project success and mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various construction-related contracts, including subcontracts, service agreements, and purchase orders.
  • Ensure all contracts are legally sound, compliant with relevant regulations, and aligned with company policies.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, from initiation and execution to close-out, maintaining accurate contract records.
