Job summary

Value Buds Queen St. East in Toronto is seeking a motivated Keyholder / Shift Lead to ensure a welcoming shopping experience and promote cannabis education.

You will support daily store operations, merchandise, operate the POS, manage stock, and help maintain compliance with regulations, including ID checks. The role offers growth opportunities and benefits with SNDL’s Value Buds banner.

Qualifications

• Retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirements per province (18/19+).

What You’ll Do

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts

• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification

About You

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell)
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check
