Job summary

Value Buds Lloydminster is seeking a motivated Keyholder/Shift Lead to help run daily cannabis retail operations, greet customers, provide product education, and lead by example during shifts.

You will manage merchandising, operate POS, restock, verify IDs, and ensure compliance with provincial cannabis rules while supporting teammates. Prior retail experience and cannabis certification are required; full-time roles include health benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep.
