Job summary

Value Buds in Fort McMurray is seeking a motivated Keyholder / Shift Lead to join our cannabis retail team. You’ll help customers, lead shifts, and ensure smooth store operations in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll provide product recommendations, handle POS, restock, and ensure ID checks and regulatory compliance. Prior retail or hospitality experience and cannabis selling certification are preferred. Part-time hours offer flexible scheduling and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Retail, customer service or hospitality experience required.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age per province (18/19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.
