Job summary

Value Buds is seeking a motivated Keyholder to join our cannabis retail team in Stony Plain, AB. As a Keyholder, you’ll lead by example, help customers navigate our product range, and support store operations during shifts.

You’ll manage POS, assist with inventory, restock, and ensure compliance with cannabis regulations including ID checks. Prior retail or hospitality experience and cannabis selling certification are required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+).

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.
