Job summary

Value Buds Wanless Centre in Brampton is seeking a motivated Keyholder/Shift Lead to support daily operations, lead by example, and provide an outstanding customer experience while guiding peers during shifts.

You’ll handle POS transactions, assist customers with cannabis education, ensure compliance with regulations, manage stock, and participate in store upkeep. A background in retail or hospitality, a cannabis selling certification, and the ability to pass a background check are required.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement based on province (19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs; pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.
