Job summary

Value Buds is a leading cannabis retailer in Canada seeking a Keyholder/Shift Lead to deliver excellent customer service and support daily store operations. You will engage customers, promote education on products, and ensure smooth POS and inventory processes.

Ideal candidates have prior retail or hospitality experience, cannabis certification, and the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. A Criminal Record Check is required.

• Cannabis selling certification required.
• Minimum age per province (18/19+).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Keyholder to join our team. As a Keyholder, you’ll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the exciting world of cannabis.

What You’ll Do
