The team behind the genius

Our team of experts in integrity and reliability is dedicated to the prevention of equipment and structural failures.

Our clients can count on this expertise in preventing failures at all stages of the life cycle of their critical assets in order to exploit them in an ever safer and more profitable way.

With our expanding client base and growing project needs, we are looking to add one junior structural engineer to join our dynamic ASSET Reliability Division. The position will be based in our Vancouver office at the Broadway Tech Centre, with convenient access to the Renfrew SkyTrain Station. The Broadway Tech Centre has an array of amenities, including a fitness centre, basketball and volleyball courts, an outdoor BBQ area, restaurants, cafés, bike lockers, underground parking, and a daycare facility.

Our expertise is diversifying, how about you?

As an integral member of the ASSET Integrity & Reliability Management Division, you will be involved in performing equipment and facility condition inspections, compiling and writing technical reports and memorandums, completing structural design work and analysis (steel, concrete, and timber), conducting on-site construction reviews, and preparing drawings, fee estimates, and service proposals. The ASSET division has a strong focus on condition inspections, maintenance, and repair/replacement projects which support the ports, mining, bulk materials handling, and construction materials sectors.

This position includes short‑term travel to job sites to carry out inspection and assessment work, and requires the ability to effectively liaise with clients, contractors, and other engineering consultants. You will also perform detailed engineering, design, and analysis for a variety of projects.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy a mix of field and office work. It involves hard work and a steep learning curve but provides great exposure to a broad range of engineering challenges and there is an opportunity to gain valuable experience and grow quickly. Working within the ASSET division results in developing well‑rounded engineers who are highly valued in the industry.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • A demonstrated ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and other consultants.
  • A willingness to work with a team to complete field inspections of heavy industrial equipment.
  • A valid BC Driver’s License.
