Beedie IT team at Beedie develop, maintain and support IT systems and solutions that support our faculty and staff.
The Junior Business Analyst plays an important role in supporting and enhancing Beedie School of Business' Orbis and Salesforce platforms, helping to ensure that these systems effectively support student services, academic programs, and administrative operations. Working closely with staff, faculty, and technology teams, this position helps gather and document business requirements, analyze processes, support solution design, configure system settings, and assist with testing, training, and implementation activities. The role contributes to the department's goals by aligning technology solutions with business needs, improving operational efficiency, and enhancing the user experience. The successful candidate will be involved in the ongoing support, maintenance, and development of Orbis, Salesforce, and related business systems, while contributing to business process improvement and digital transformation initiatives across the School. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop business analysis and enterprise application skills in a collaborative and innovative environment.

They have strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience or interest in business process improvement, enterprise applications, and data analysis is valuable. Familiarity with Salesforce, CRM systems, or business application support is an asset. The successful candidate is adaptable, proactive, and enjoys working in a team environment while contributing to the ongoing support and enhancement of Orbis, Salesforce, and related business systems.
Full Job Description
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline and one year of related experience including experience in writing and reviewing business, user, and non-functional/system level requirements, test plans, and training materials, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
