The Application Administrator is primarily responsible for the ongoing administration and technical support for the Beedie School of Business's Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) platform, Salesforce. The Application Administrator analyzes, validates, and verifies business objectives, processes and functions for software development and/or integration to optimize the use of technology and improve effectiveness, efficiencies and economies. Working in partnership with the Beedie CRM Product Owner/Project Manager and CRM development team, the role implements the strategic development plan for Salesforce in Beedie School, working as part of a long‑term CRM development roadmap. As a subject matter expert, the application administrator contributes to the roll out of new features and serves as a key member of the quality assurance team. In addition, this role is responsible for a number of operational support tasks such as modifying and configuring objects; creating triggers and workflows; managing user accounts; enforcing established data security policies; and monitoring platform health and performance.
Bachelor's degree in Computing Science or a related discipline with two years of experience related to the support and administration of Salesforce administration, interfacing with internal business partners, vendors, and customers to resolve issues and troubleshoot problems; or an equivalent of education, training, and experience.
