Job summary

Simon Fraser University in Vancouver is seeking a Curricular Projects Manager within Executive Education to oversee curriculum, course, and online learning initiatives for Beedie's online blended and hybrid courses. You will coordinate with faculty, internal teams and external partners to ensure quality, accessibility and alignment with strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline and three years of related experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management and planning best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of online course development in a post-secondary environment.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, and work independently or as a member of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet competing deadlines with excellent attention to details.

Long-term partnerships guide programming that enables a deep understanding of clients' needs and the design of custom programs to address those needs.

About the Role

The Curricular Projects Manager is responsible for managing processes and projects related to curriculum, course, program and online learning activities for all online blended and hybrid courses developed by Beedie's Executive Education. The role collaborates closely with faculty, internal stakeholders, and external partners to coordinate the development of new offerings, ensuring quality, accessibility, and consistency across course builds. The role leads project activities and provides reports, data and analysis to support the planning, development and implementation of curricular initiatives, projects and priorities within the Executive Education, ensuring project planning and goals align with the unit's and Beedie's strategic vision. The role implements project plans, including operational, administrative and communication activities to ensure successful achievement and integration of initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline and three years of related experience in planning and research activities, project coordination, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Excellent knowledge of project management and planning best practices.
  • Excellent knowledge of online course development in a post-secondary environment.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, and work independently or as a member of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet competing deadlines with excellent attention to details.
