Job summary

Nova Scotia Power seeks a Maintenance Person in Lingan, Canada to support general operations and maintenance of head gates and water control structures. The role covers emergency station manning and related duties, with travel to other NS Power sites as needed.

Applicants must hold one of the journeyperson certifications listed and have at least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a generating or process environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on head gates and water control structures.
• Issue safe work permits and coordinate with contractors under safety programs.
• Assist with equipment overhauls and routine maintenance tasks.
• Be available for temporary assignments to other locations and sites as needed.
• Travel to other Nova Scotia Power sites for extended periods as required.
