Were Hiring : AWS Node.js (Java Developer)

Location : Toronto, ON Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Contract Duration : 1 Year (with possible extension)

Rate : $38 $40 on T4

Responsibilities

• Design & develop complex Java-based applications using AWS services, Spring, Apache Camel, Kafka, SQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex software issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code.
• Develop & maintain efficient database schemas, stored procedures, and queries.
• Implement real-time data processing with Kafka, AWS SNS / SQS.
• Build & manage data transformation logic using Apache Camel.
• Participate in code reviews ensuring quality, performance, and security.
• Stay updated with the latest Java & AWS trends, tools, and best practices.
• Work with containerization platforms (Docker, OpenShift, AWS ECS Fargate).

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on Java, Spring framework development.
• Expertise with Apache Camel / Spring Batch.
• Experience implementing real-time data pipelines using Kafka & AWS messaging services.
