Job summary

YMCA of Northeastern Ontario in North Bay, ON seeks an IT Support Coordinator, Hardware for full‑time duties, including deploying and maintaining end‑user hardware and providing first‑line technical support. Strong travel across YMCA sites is required, with 40‑hour weeks and some after‑hours work.

This role also manages Microsoft 365 administration and asset records. Starting December 1, 2026 or sooner, compensation is commensurate with education and experience, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in IT or related field.
• Valid G class driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• 1–3 years IT/support/desktop or devices experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune.
• Experience with Windows and Apple devices and imaging.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingualism an asset; willingness to travel across YMCA sites.
• Police Check required.

Responsibilities

• Resolve routine hardware, software, account and connectivity requests.
• Document and track requests in the Technology Request system.
• Provide in‑person and remote first‑line support across locations.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding and device provisioning.
• Hands‑on setup, deployment and replacement of workstations and devices.
• Configure, label, package, transport and decommission equipment.
• Travel across Northeastern Ontario for installations and moves.
• Manage device and MDM tasks using Intune and Jamf.
• Maintain accurate device records and lifecycle status.
• Support network, internet, phone and site connectivity issues.
