Assessment Accommodation

Eligibility

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the essential qualifications listed below.

Education

Graduation from a two‑year program of study from a recognized post‑secondary institution with specialization in computer science, information technology, information management, or another relevant specialty.

Experience
  • Developing software solutions on various technology platforms (e.g., C#, React, Oracle Apex, or other applicable platforms).
  • Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, V‑Model, iterative).
Language Requirements
  • English – Essential
  • Bilingual – B–/B–

  • Working or volunteering in a mixed civilian and military environment.
  • Entity‑Relationship or Object data modeling.
  • Object‑oriented approach and Unified Modeling Language (UML).
  • Conducting research with clients to identify appropriate existing or new IT solutions.
  • Managing short‑term software project(s) as lead or key team member.
  • Providing software solutions services in an academic institution.
Conditions of Employment

Various security clearances – Reliability, Secret, or Top Secret (Top Secret only for Canadian citizens). Strict adherence to the Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces Code of Values and Ethics, Directive on Conflict of Interest, and Defence Administrative Orders and Directives (DAOD 7021‑1).
