A federal department of Canada is seeking qualified candidates for software development roles. Applicants must have a two-year degree in Computer Science or a related field and experience in developing software solutions on various technology platforms. Bilingual candidates are preferred, with positions available in Comox. In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the essential qualifications listed below.
Graduation from a two‑year program of study from a recognized post‑secondary institution with specialization in computer science, information technology, information management, or another relevant specialty.
Various security clearances – Reliability, Secret, or Top Secret (Top Secret only for Canadian citizens). Strict adherence to the Department of National Defence and Canadian Forces Code of Values and Ethics, Directive on Conflict of Interest, and Defence Administrative Orders and Directives (DAOD 7021‑1).
Selection may be based on qualified candidates self‑declaring belonging to Indigenous Peoples, visible minorities, persons with disabilities, or women. Veterans are given preference, followed by Canadian citizens and permanent residents (with special consideration for Nunavut Inuit where applicable).
