Job summary

North West Rubber, a long-standing leader in rubber recycling and manufacturing, is hiring for a Millwright / Industrial Maintenance Technician at our Brantford, ON facility. Earn CAD 32.00–36.00 per hour with overtime opportunities as you help keep production moving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance or millwright experience.
• Manufacturing experience is a strong asset.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation using our CMMS system.
• Order and track maintenance parts and inventory.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and general maintenance repairs as required.
• Work closely with Production and Operations teams to ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a member of our Maintenance Team, you will:

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime
• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance activities
