Job summary

North West Rubber, a leader in rubber recycling and industrial mat manufacturing, is seeking a Mixing Machine Operator in Brantford, Ontario. This full-time role offers 12-hour continental shifts (days and nights) with a competitive wage and benefits, supporting growth and safety-focused operations.

You will operate and monitor the mixing line, prepare crumb rubber mixtures, ensure material accuracy, and collaborate with multiple teams to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the mixing line.
• Formulate and prepare crumb rubber mixtures according to production requirements.
• Identify and differentiate raw materials accurately.
• Safely load and unload trailers while meeting operational timelines.
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all start-up, shutdown, and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Perform routine inspections and maintain safe work practices.
• Communicate effectively with office staff, truck drivers, maintenance teams, and production departments.
• Understand and utilize emergency safety equipment and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Shift Schedule

• 12-Hour Continental Rotating Schedule
• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

What You’ll Do
