UniFirst Canada is seeking a reliable Maintenance Tech I to join our team in Calgary. You will handle repairs, maintenance, installation and troubleshooting of industrial equipment, boilers, and systems on a Monday–Friday schedule with on-the-job training provided.

The role involves reading blueprints and performing safety procedures while supporting a growing organization. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a 2-year technical degree, and 6 months of related experience.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum of 6 months’ experience repairing industrial processing equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Lockout/Tagout experience required.
• Basic computer and MS Office skills required.
• Welding experience preferred.
• HVAC knowledge preferred.
• Must pass maintenance knowledge assessment.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, repair and troubleshoot industrial equipment, systems and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Read blueprints, schematics and manuals to complete tasks.
• Record meter readings and adjust chemicals as required.
• Perform safety checks, Lockout/Tagout and confined space procedures.
• Respond to alarms and assist teammates with repairs.
• Utilize CMMS for maintenance work orders and documentation.
• Lift up to 80 lbs and work overtime as needed.
