Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd. seeks Independent Contractors for its Domestic Fleet, running Winnipeg, MB to Toronto, ON two times per week. The role offers steady year-round work with an emphasis on safety and reliable service.

Contractors must own a truck (5+ years old) and have 2+ years of verifiable driving experience; Class 1A license required. Heaters/reefers experience is an asset, with a safety‑conscious operations team supporting you.

Qualifications

• Class 1A licence is required.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience.
• Must own a truck 5 years or newer.
• LCV experience is an asset.
• Ability to drive in all terrains and operate heaters/reefers.
• Professional appearance and good hygiene.
• Safe driving record verified by current driver’s abstract.
• Ability to perform all duties without restriction.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner.
• Handle freight and freight documents.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintenance checks.
• Professional communication with customers.
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety.
• Perform all other duties as requested.

With more than 60 years of experience and trusted tools, Harv Wilkening gets the job done right every time.Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd., requires Independent Contractors for our Domestic Fleet. This position is running Winnipeg, MB to Toronto, ON two times per week.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner
• Handle freight and freight documents
• Perform Pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks
• Professional communication with customers
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety
• Perform all other duties as requested
