Job summary

Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd. seeks an Independent Contractors Team for its Domestic Fleet. This position runs Toronto – Vancouver once per week with scheduled departure days.

Responsibilities include pickup and delivery of freight, handling freight documents, and performing inspections. Earn up to $2.20/mile with paid orientation; a full-time, steady schedule and year-round work with strong dispatch support.

Qualifications

• Class 1A driver's license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
• Must own your own truck (5 years or newer).
• LCV experience is an asset.
• Ability to drive in all terrains.
• Experience with heaters and reefers.
• Professional appearance and good hygiene.
• Safe driving record verified by a current drivers abstract.

Responsibilities

With more than 60 years of experience and trusted tools, Harv Wilkening gets the job done right every time.Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd., requires an Independent Contractors Team for our Domestic Fleet. This position is running Toronto - Vancouver 1 time per week with scheduled departure days.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner
• Handle freight and freight documents
• Perform Pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks
• Professional communication with customers
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety
• Perform all other duties as requested
