Job summary

Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd. is seeking Independent Contractors for our Domestic Fleet to run Winnipeg, MB to Toronto, ON twice per week.

This position offers steady year-round work with a safety-focused program and strong dispatch support. Responsibilities include pickups, deliveries, handling freight documents, and ensuring 100% safety compliance while maintaining professional customer communication.

Qualifications

• Must own a truck (5 years old or newer) and have a valid Class 1A license.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience.
• Ability to drive in all terrains and operate heaters and reefers.
• Safe driving record verified by current drivers abstract.
• Professional appearance and good hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner.
• Handle freight and freight documents and professional communication with customers.
• Perform Pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety programs and company policies.
• Perform all other duties as requested by the dispatch team.

With more than 60 years of experience and trusted tools, Harv Wilkening gets the job done right every time. Harv Wilkening Transport Ltd., requires Independent Contractors for our Domestic Fleet. This position is running Winnipeg, MB to Toronto, ON two times per week.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of freight in a safe and efficient manner
• Handle freight and freight documents
• Perform Pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks
• Professional communication with customers
• Ensure 100% compliance with safety
• Perform all other duties as requested
