What will your typical day look like?

The IAM Cyber Controls Liaison/Client‑Federation Lead plays a critical role within the Global Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, focusing on ensuring the alignment of member firm data visualizations with IAM controls evidence available through the IAM product suite. This position is also responsible for leading the successful implementation of IAM Single Sign‑On (SSO) client federation, facilitating seamless access to Deloitte’s applications and services. The role requires advanced communication abilities, technical expertise in SSO and client federation, as well as strong data analysis skills to identify reporting needs. Additionally, the individual collaborates with technical teams to develop, validate, and maintain compliance reporting and dashboards that inform stakeholders and support decision‑making.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Gather and translate stakeholder requirements for compliance report and dashboard updates illustrating member firm compliance with IAM controls using data from the IAM product suite.
  • Serve as IAM Data Report Steward, handling data requests, using statistical methods to identify trends and anomalies in Identity Product datasets and clearly reporting member firm compliance with IAM controls.
  • Collaborate with IAM product owners and data engineers to develop Power BI reports tailored for stakeholders, ensuring accurate representation of member firm compliance.
  • Work with Cyber Security, IAM Product Owners, and member firms to ensure data quality in IAM Reporting platform aligns with IAM cybersecurity controls.
  • Contribute to IAM controls and reporting standards by proposing changes to metrics, cadence, and evidence requirements based on analysis.
  • Maintain the Federation Tracker and operational datasets used to monitor client SSO/federation status, converting data into actionable metrics.
  • Lead the coordination of SSO setup, ensuring smooth integration and alignment with project goals.
  • Facilitate clear communication between clients and internal teams regarding SSO requirements.
  • Manage the SSO setup process, including testing and implementing change management plans.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for engagement teams and clients regarding SSO processes.
  • Oversee SSO implementation coordination across teams.
  • Coordinate technical SSO setup, pre‑deployment testing, validation, and change management strategies.

Do you possess the following?

  • 3–5 years combined experience in data analysis/reporting and federation/compliance.
  • Strong experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI required or equivalent).
  • Experience with data visualization best practices and data storytelling.
  • Hands‑on experience with data quality, reconciliation, and defining validation rules for compliance reporting. Familiarity with IAM concepts (SSO, federation protocols like SAML/OAuth/OpenID Connect).
  • Comfortable working with data engineers/product owners to define schema and data feed requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in coordinating complex projects across multiple business lines, engaging diverse teams including high‑level stakeholders and technical resources.
  • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills, bridging the gap between business and technology teams.
  • Advanced critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data, manipulating, visualizing, and storytelling. Proven ability to work independently and manage tasks autonomously.
  • Strong stakeholder management and written and verbal communication skills – able to explain technical data issues to non‑technical audiences.
  • Proactive critical thinking and autonomy: prioritize analyses, manage tasks, and deliver on schedule with minimal supervision.
Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $69,000 – $114,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
