Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Specialist to design, implement, and manage training programs that enhance skills and organizational effectiveness. This hybrid role combines remote work with on-site collaboration in Kimberley, ZA, and focuses on needs assessment, curriculum development, and evaluation of L&D initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Learning & Development or Training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across the organization.
• Design and develop engaging training programs, workshops, and learning materials using various methodologies.
• Facilitate training sessions for diverse employee groups, both in-person and virtually.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for course deployment, tracking, and reporting.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with departmental managers and subject matter experts to ensure training relevance.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in Learning & Development.
• Develop and implement strategies for employee onboarding and ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to the development of a positive and performance-driven organizational culture.
