• Facilitate training sessions for diverse employee groups, both in-person and virtually.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) for course deployment, tracking, and reporting.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with departmental managers and subject matter experts to ensure training relevance.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in Learning & Development.
• Develop and implement strategies for employee onboarding and ongoing professional development.
• Contribute to the development of a positive and performance-driven organizational culture.

About the Role

Our client is looking for a dynamic and proactive Learning & Development Specialist to design, implement, and manage training programs that enhance employee skills and organizational effectiveness. This role is integral to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the company. You will identify training needs, develop curriculum, facilitate workshops (both in-person and virtual), and evaluate the impact of L&D initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses strong instructional design skills, excellent facilitation abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of adult learning principles. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with essential on-site collaboration at our Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA location. You will play a key role in equipping our workforce with the knowledge and competencies needed to excel in their roles and drive business success.

Requirements

• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning authoring tools.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
• Excellent facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
• Experience in performance consulting and needs analysis is highly desirable.
