Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Instructional Designer to design, develop, and implement engaging eLearning courses and training programs. This fully remote role supports learners worldwide from a home base around Kimberley or anywhere else, combining pedagogical expertise with creative design.

You will collaborate with SMEs, develop storyboards and multimedia assets, and ensure accessibility while applying ADDIE/SAM models and modern trends in instructional design.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, Curriculum Development, or related field.
• 5+ years of instructional design experience with complex eLearning courses.
• Proficiency with Articulate Storyline, Rise, and Adobe Captivate.
• Strong understanding of adult learning theories and methodologies.
• Portfolio of instructional design work required.
• Ability to manage projects independently in a remote setting.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop high-quality, engaging eLearning courses and materials using authoring tools (Storyline, Rise, Captivate).
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design models to create effective learning solutions.
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather content, define objectives, and develop course outlines.
• Create assessments, quizzes, simulations, and performance-based tasks to measure outcomes.
• Develop storyboards, scripts, and multimedia assets (graphics, audio, video).
• Ensure accessibility and inclusivity of learning materials.
• Manage multiple instructional design projects with timely delivery and budget adherence.
• Pilot-test courses and incorporate feedback for continuous improvement.
• Stay current with trends and technologies in instructional design and eLearning.
• Mentor junior instructional designers and share subject matter expertise.
